Basically i brought this home to add an Apple TV to my bedroom where WiFi likes to drop out and a solid wire run would be cost prohibitive. br / I opened the box, plugged one directly to an outlet and my router and the other to the outlet in the bedroom and apple TV. Pressed the only button on the devices at each end one time and voila. Rock solid signal (granted not 200mbps but lets be real as that is a max under perfect lab conditions). It was literally that easy. br /br /No doubt that hardwired and clean WiFi are better but in light duty applications like mine this is a great product. 1 month in and no drop outs and the Apple TV works way better than it did on wifi for me.

I've tried virtually every which way to extend ethernet in my two story house with various degrees of success. This widget just works and it blows the rest away. Right now I have a hackintosh in my office upstairs serving up iTunes movies/music to downstairs Apple TV and through out the rest of the house via wireless and it works. It works every day, all day without fail. And this is crossing over the breakers to get from one room to the other which is where most power line adapters fail.br /

Simple.br /Remove contents from box. br /Plug wall adapter into the wall,br /Plug Ethernet cable into your New Belkin Adapter then plug into your Router,br /Plug other wall adapter into the wall,br /Plug Ethernet into your computer, Xbox 360, or PS3 and you have instant connection.br /It took not more then 5 seconds for my laptop to recognize the LAN.br /I went from 54 Mbps to 100 Mbps in a matter of seconds.br /br /Great buy and Great product!br /br /Recommended for anyone wanting a fast hardwired connection anywhere in their home and great speeds and no problems!!
